Campaign's Premise
For Melita’s launch of StellarVoice, their new service designed to strengthen mobile reception inside thick-walled homes in Malta, VML Belgium developed a playful, family-focused concept that we were thrilled to bring to life.
The story follows a household where only one spot in the entire house gets a good signal, turning every incoming call into a chaotic race between family members. From phones landing in popcorn bowls to parents leaping over tables, sprinting through rooms, and getting tangled in curtains, the advert blends humour, energy, and real-life frustration that every viewer recognises. The twist? Once Stellar Voice is activated, the chaos disappears. Everyone connects effortlessly, everywhere.
To ensure the action felt authentic and strategically aligned with the campaign goals, our team invested heavily in pre-production. Because this brand video sat at the top of the funnel, designed to drive awareness for Melita’s new service. we focused on clarity of message, pacing, and audience impact from day one. We carried out on-site pre-vis sessions, and built a full pre-visualisation edit. This allowed the agency and production crew to review timing, choreography, and camera movement in advance, ensuring both the stunt elements and the core narrative landed exactly as intended.
The final result is a dynamic, cinematic TVC that transforms a relatable household problem into a lively, memorable story, and showcases how Melita’s Stellar Voice eliminates “the race for signal” once and for all.
