Campaign's Premise
Contentsquare’s campaign was developed as a series of brand adverts built around three distinct creative worlds, each centred on an exaggerated, “magical” method of seeking insight, set within a medieval market, a mystical cave, and open fields. Each world provided a framework to communicate the unique selling points of Contentsquare’s Sense AI through the concepts of Magic Oil, Magic Cards, and Magic Stick, respectively.
The fun part is that in every advert, in each concept marketers are placed inside a fictional world where they’re trying to figure things out using completely unreliable tools, through unreliable, “magical” means, from intuition sticks and fake oils to vague predictions. Everything feels a bit chaotic on purpose – because that’s the point, allowing the moment Sense AI is introduced to shift the narrative. As clarity replaces confusion for the marketer, each story transitions from fantasy into a grounded, modern reality – turning messy customer data into clear, actionable insight with Sense AI.
Even though the three adverts each have their own look and setting, we planned them as one connected through tone, pacing, and visual language. By designing the adverts to live across platforms from the start, the production was able to deliver multiple video and photography outputs efficiently without compromising creative intent.
We put a big focus on pre-production on pre-production, because that’s where a project like this either stays sharp or starts to fall apart. Concepts were carefully broken down; multiple locations were explored ahead of shoot days, and scenes were tested in advance to better understand pacing, movement, and camera flow. That prep made decisions easier once we were on set, and it kept the production running clean and efficient.
The shoot took place in Malta with close international collaboration throughout. We worked with live remote direction and real-time feedback, which meant we could move fast and stay aligned even across time zones. Alongside the video work, we captured photography alongside the video work too – so the same production window delivered a full set of assets ready for digital and social use.
The final work reflects an ambitious creative that still feels clear, intentional, and strategically tight. It’s the kind of production that’s built on preparation, collaboration, and good decision-making early on, so the final brand videos don’t just look great… they actually perform across different channels.
