Stop motion, food styling and dance, all wrapped in one 30 second advert for McDonald’s mexican themed burgers. Our client wanted a fun and upbeat video which appealed mostly to the youth but at the same time wanted to emphasise the ingredients of the two new burgers. Hence the different colour scheme of green and red, representing each burger as well as the funky dance moves that appeal to younger audiences. The stop motion, whilst slightly time consuming, proved to be a crucial addition to the video as it gives it some more flare than it already has. Not to mention the motion graphics, even though they’re a small detail they go a long way in adding to the production value to the end result. A somewhat eclectic video, which is exactly what we wanted.
It wasn’t easy to film all the necessary footage (there was so many shots!) but it was worth it every step of the way. Big thanks go to the dancers, who had no problem with rolling in the sand in winter and of course to all those involved in this project.
